Fashion Scholarship Helps Design Careers at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale

August 8, 2007 – Ft. Lauderdale, FL — The Art Institutes Passion for Fashion Competition offers high school seniors interested in Fashion Design or Fashion Marketing, Merchandising or Retail Management an opportunity to compete for a full tuition scholarship to study at one of The Art Institutes, including The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale (www.aifl.edu) where both 2006 winners Elana Bloom, of Boca Raton, and Karlee Smith, of Atlanta, are current students.

In addition to a full tuition scholarship, each grand prize-winning student receives an all-expense-paid trip to New York City for Fashion Week in February 2008 and a "meet and greet" at Seventeen magazine's offices.

Deadline for entries into the competition is November 19, 2007.
