Home Stagers Trade Program to Benefit Sellers

August 09, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Deborah Chene of Staging Impressions is adding a new Home Staging Trade Program to her home staging and interior redesign business. The new program will increase the accessories, furnishings and props available for staging homes for sale.

The recent consolidation of furniture companies and the number of homes currently for sale in today’s market makes this an ideal time for the Home Staging Trade Program to debut. More cost-effective options for home stagers will translate into more sellers and Realtors® seeing their “For Sale” signs turn into “Sold” signs.

The goal of Home Staging is to create the “WOW!” factor in homes that are for sale. Having a wider variety of furnishings and accessories at a lower cost spreads the benefits of home staging to a wider audience and increases the speed of general consumer acceptance. Chene has been staging homes for more than three years and has seen a growing interest in Home Staging, but customers’ concerns over the cost of renting furniture and accessories has not diminished. At the same time, consolidation within the furniture industry is making it increasingly difficult for home stagers to provide cost-effective solutions for a variety of home prices and styles.

Staging Impressions’ Home Staging Trade Program is designed to reduce home stagers’ start-up costs and provide expanded, more affordable rental options to the consumer. The Home Staging Trade Program will focus on renting accessories to home stagers, providing a clearing house for accessories to be shared among professional stagers, and consolidating buying power for wholesale and bulk discount opportunities. Chene will offer this program on a trial basis beginning at the end of August. The Home Staging Program will be offered to Accredited Staging Professionals™ and I.R.I.S. Certified Stagers who are licensed and insured. The program is not available to the general public.
