WARE MALCOMB ANNOUNCES DESIGN COMPLETE & CONSTRUCTION BEGUN FOR ADVANCED MEDICAL OPTICS NEW CENTER OF EXCELLENCE FOR MANUFACTURING

Milpitas, California – Ware Malcomb is a national design firm offering planning, architecture, interior design, graphic design and site development services to commercial real estate clients throughout the United States and Mexico. The firm’s Northern California office is proud to announce that design is complete and construction has begun for Advanced Medical Optics, Inc.’s (AMO) new Center of Excellence for Manufacturing, located at 510 Cottonwood Drive in Milpitas, California.

Ware Malcomb is providing interior architectural and design services for the new 180,000 square foot Center of Excellence for Manufacturing facility. The space will feature 80,000 SF of office and 100,000 SF of manufacturing, including a laser surgery demonstration/showroom, a reception area, training facilities, conference facilities, as well as open and closed offices. Construction is estimated to be complete in December of 2007.
