Girl Rockers The Time Tellers to Rock East Bay Club Ashkenaz on August 16

Dateline: Oakland, California. Bay Area high school girl band www.TheTimeTellers.com leads an all-ages night of indie music and dancing at Ashkenaz Music and Dance Center on Thursday, August 16. This is the first opportunity for East Bay fans to hear The Time Tellers live since their smash debut at Palo Alto’s The Red Rock Cafe earlier this Summer, where their original blend of rock, folk and pop (reminiscent of an Avril Lavigne/Sarah McLaughlin duet backed by The Veronicas) stole the show.

Live music and dancing starts at 9:00 pm with The Time Tellers’ haunting melodies, engaging harmonies and driving guitar which appeals far beyond their home audiences at St. Mary’s High and Los Altos High.

The East Bay CD Release party for Project Greenfield’s second CD, "The Spiral Path" continues with live acts funk/soul/pop band Kelly’s Kitchen (www.MySpace.com/KellysKitchen), and Project Greenfield’s (www.ProjectGreenfield.com) own powerful blend of funk, world beat and psychedelic rock with lyrics of social activism and personal growth.
