CASPER, Wyo. – When major operators of pipelines and refineries need specialized inspection services they seek out a unique, highly experienced inspection company, and when that company needed specialized insurance coverage they found a highly experience agent in designing and finding specialized coverage many states away to help them.

High Mountain Inspection Service, Inc has recently retained Scott A. Helmer of Hill Insurance Services in Scottsdale, Ariz. as their insurance agent. Helmer was not only able to improve coverages, he saved High Mountain nearly 30 percent.

“That equates to tens of thousands of dollars in savings annually,” explained Helmer. “That was not unusual. I am often able to find significant savings for the companies I help.”

High Mountain’s president, Bill Fraser, said he was excited with the improved benefits and coverages Helmer obtained. High Mountain has been providing non-destructive testing services to the energy industry for more than 20 years. Headquartered in Casper, High Mountain operates nation wide.

Hill Insurance and High Mountain are both members of the Pipe Line Contractors Association (www.plca.org).

Helmer said he worked directly with Fraser as well as Bill Laffoon at High Mountain to design a complete package of benefits and coverages designed specifically for the company’s unique needs.

Helmer has a web site at http://ScottHelmer.com and specializes in insuring companies engaged in the arena of global energy, large construction, and related industries throughout the United States. Helmer and his team at Hill Insurance are able to provide all forms of risk management services.

Pipe line contractors, commercial general contractors, inspection companies, oil and gas refineries and mining operations are just some of the types of industries that require specialized insurance protection. More often than not, most insurance brokers have limited carrier access or lack the
experience necessary to place the proper coverage’s at the most competitive rates.

“Each client is different, and it is important to know all the possible ways to insure each situation. Because I am independent I can make a recommendation that is right for the client,” explained Helmer.

He suggests that companies, large and small, request an audit of their current insurance program and a competitive proposal on an annual basis. Many times it is possible to find better coverage for the same or lower cost. In addition, it is crucial to contemplate any new business exposures that may be present in the coming year.

Helmer may be contacted through his web site at http://ScottHelmer.com.
