Youth Service America Announces Staff Promotions And Important New Hires

WASHINGTON – Youth Service America today announced several personnel developments including promotions, position enhancements, and new hires. These changes recognize and reward the talent and longevity of the YSA team, fortifying the organization’s position as the nation’s leadership engine for the youth service movement.

Staff promotions include:

• Silvia Blitzer Golombek, Ph.D. to Senior Vice President
• Zachary Shaw to Chief Financial Officer
• Robert Bisi to Vice President, Communications & Outreach
• Karen L. Daniel to Vice President, Global Youth Service Day
• Christina Wessell Batcheler to Director of Communications
• Daniel Hatcher to Director of Outreach

Staff Position Enhancements:

• Nandini Assar, Ph.D. to Manager, Grant Learning & Evaluation
• Julie Mancuso to Senior Manager, Strategic Grant Initiatives

New Hires:

• Jon Camfield as Director, Information Communication Technology
• Andraéa LaVant as Manager, Global Youth Service Day
• Angeline Mutima as Service-Learning Emerging Fellow
