GREENWOOD VILLAGE – Steve Rosch, a Broker Associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Greenwood Village, has won a Grand Prize trip for four to the 2007 National Association of Realtors (NAR) convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Denver Stapleton July Broker Tour Grand Prize, valued at $10,000, was awarded by the developer of the expansive Stapleton mixed use community in Denver, site of the former Stapleton Airport. To qualify for the prize, real estate brokers were required to visit all model homes at Stapleton by July 31st. Rosch was announced as the winner on August 1, 2007.

“I have always tried to be a pro-active Denver Realtor and gladly took the time to tour all of the model homes at Stapleton in order to expand my knowledge of this outstanding community,” said Rosch. “I would also like to encourage my colleagues in the real estate business to visit Stapleton first-hand in order to understand how diverse the area truly is. Stapleton’s extremely desirable location and diversity in architecture is unique in Colorado. The remarkable variety of new homes and price ranges is impressive by any measure. It’s one-stop shopping for home buyers and their Realtors, with everything from condominiums to fabulous estate homes. The lifestyle is exceptional, with wide streets, greenways, parks and natural open space, recreational amenities, plus miles of meandering trails. Stapleton also has a small town charm, and its thoughtful design features the ‘New Urbanism’ approach to development.”

Rosch’s Grand Prize includes registration for the NAR convention from November 13-16, four roundtrip airline tickets, a five-night stay at the Bellagio Hotel plus limousine service from the airport, $2,500 for food and entertainment expenses, and a $1,000 gift card for The Shops at Northfield Stapleton.

Stapleton offers a remarkable variety of new homes priced from the $100’s to nearly $1 million, including condominiums, townhomes and rowhomes, brownstones, lofts, a great selection of single-family homes, plus luxury estate homes. The community has been recognized as a “model” for Sustainable Development and has garnered awards for efforts in supporting recycling in Denver, environmental achievement, and the “Best in American Living” award.

Stapleton’s vision also calls for a focus on education, with public schools living in harmony with charter, private, vocational, and online learning opportunities. The community showcases expansive neighborhood parks and numerous community events throughout the year, such as the “Stapleton Under the Stars” movie series.
