Amara Launches Exclusive Wedding List Service

September 02, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Luxury homeware boutique Amara is now launching an exclusive wedding list service – offering an unparalleled selection of the world’s finest brands in conjunction with the deluxe retail outlet’s renowned personalised service.

Amara’s wedding list service allows discerning couples to select an elegantly opulent range of household items with which to furnish their marital home – from fragrance diffusers to wine decanters to exquisite crystal dining table centre pieces. Amara’s expert buyers choose only the highest possible quality items from brands such as William Yeoward crystal, Mulberry Home and Missoni.

This unique service is available both online - http://www.amara.co.uk - and over the phone (01376 321 100). Each couple is provided with a personal wedding consultant, who will be able to advise on list compilation, interior design issues and the selection of complementary items from different ranges. All of the products come beautifully gift-wrapped. Delivery is free of charge.

Sam Hood, owner of Amara, says: “What makes our new service so special is not just the unique range of the most prestigious global homeware brands we offer, but our highly personalised service. For example, if one of a set of glasses gets broken, we’ll search for an exact replacement.

“This is nothing like other wedding list services – we’re not just some third party buying in items from other retailers and selling them over the internet. We are interior design connoisseurs. We have genuine passion for what we do. Our consultants all have first-hand knowledge of each and every item – as they’re all in stock in the boutique. What’s more, our team all has interior design expertise and can offer help with everything from matching colour palettes to sophisticated dining table dressing.”

To celebrate the launch of this unique service, customers setting up a wedding list before 30 December will receive a free Amara branded candle, worth £25. Amara will also give all its brides and grooms a wedding gift of vouchers worth ten per cent of the total pledged by their guests.

Sam Hood predicts the ten most popular wedding list items will be:

* Mulberry’s classic glass ice bucket embossed with the brand’s famous tree motif (£75)
* Atelier de Vin‘s imposing white ceramic cheese platter (£31) and matching, beautifully tactile, walnut-handled knife set (£39)
* Delconte’s solid silver ‘Ashanti’ photo frame, made by artisan silversmiths in Florence (£169)
* Missoni’s ‘Isidoro’ five-piece towel set (£112) – featuring an eye-catching blue, green and pink striped design, it is part of the Italian fashion house’s new 2007 homewares collection
* Laguiole’s sleekly elegant black acrylic glass knife set (£270) – as found in the world’s top restaurants
* Missoni’s gorgeously subtle ‘Merry White’ dinner service, featuring real platinum edging (from £37 for a soup plate to £277 for a large, lidded tureen)
* Riedel’s ‘Sommelier Decanter’ (£150) – a super stylishly functional way to ensure wines, both young and vintage, are served at their very best

* Vita Audio’s R2 DAB/FM radio in walnut (£249) – Its sleek design will make it a focal point in any room but with its expansive sound the R2 provides the elements for a complete music system that will delight and entertain you.
