Washington Association of Housing and Services for the Aging With ISLE-ed to Offer Senior Care Professional and Staff Training

West Linn, Oregon and Dupont, Washington – Washington Association of Housing and Services for the Aging (WAHSA) and the Institute for Senior Living Education (ISLE-ed) have announced an educational partnership designed to offer training to administrators, managers, nurses and other professionals who provide care to the elderly through EasyCEU.com.

The ISLE-Ed partnership will also include an online staff training program, aQuire Training Solutions. The partnership will allow WAHSA to provide online professional and staff training to Administrators, managers, nurses, caregivers and frontline staff to senior care providers throughout Washington.

“WAHSA has long played a role in helping senior care providers find tools and resources needed to continue to improve care to seniors in Washington,” Sharon K. Courses are available in the areas of care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, senior care services and management, ethics, death and dying as well as other topics related to senior care. All courses offered for continuing education credit through EasyCEU.com are accredited by the National Continuing Education Review Services of the National Association of Boards of Examiners of Long Term Care Administrators (NCERS/NAB), the Board that approves courses for nursing home and assisted living administrators nationally.
