VarTech Launches Vartech.mobi to Accommodate Mobile Device Internet Users

VarTech launched a simplified mobile phone compatible website at http://vartech.mobi this week. The focus of this mobile website is to allow mobile internet users to enjoy a clean, readable interface containing simplified content. Standard websites, such as VarTech’s http://www.vartechsystems.com, are generally too big to view on mobile browsers, too complicated, and, for mobile users paying by the size of the data they download, to expensive. Now anyone trying to access http://www.vartechsystems.com via a mobile device will instead be served http://vartech.mobi.

Vartech.mobi features an overview of VarTech’s products, all contact information, a contact form, and a Google mobile map which pin points the location of VarTech’s corporate headquarters. Vartech.mobi utilizes directly linked phone numbers which if selected and clicked from a mobile device will automatically initiate the phone call.

“Mobile internet browsing is a growing phenomenon,” explains Worth Powers, Marketing Specialist at VarTech. “Right now the mobile browsers do not have the same capability as the PC browsers. Until they do we want to give our audience the best possible user experience no matter what technology they use.”
