Jerky Up! For Our Troops

House of Jerky is doing something incredible for the upcoming holiday season. Their new campaign, Jerky Up! For Our Troops, will be helping our troops who are overseas. House of Jerky will match all donations sent, so that every soldier can get a care package.

House of Jerky is an Indiana based Company that produces some of the finest flavorful beef jerky customers will find. This company has taken an active role in assuring that our troops overseas receive care packages from home. Taking care of the troops who guard our freedom is something that House of Jerky is very proud of. House of Jerky receives many letters and e-mails from our troops, thanking them for the packages, and letting the owners know that jerky is a top item on their wish lists. Many of these Soldiers have signed up with Soldiers Angels, a non profit organization that supports our troops. Soldiers Angels send letters and care packages to their adopted soldiers who are deployed in many different places. Many of those Soldiers request jerky, from House of Jerky.

These donated profits, along with the care packages, jerky, and letters keep our troops going and their moral high. For this Holiday Season, House of Jerky is offering an opportunity to “Donate and send a ¼ pound of jerky to our troops for Christmas. When customers purchase the package to send to our troops, House of Jerky will match your donation. It only costs $10.50 to make a Soldier smile. Customers can also include a personalized note that will be printed out on a holiday card for the soldier who receives your package.

Janie Honeycutt, Owner of House of Jerky, says, “We will be sending our 2 oz. bags of jerky, as this means more packages to spread around to all of the soldiers. We want everyone to be able to have a yummy treat. So, when customers purchase a ¼ pound for a soldier, we will be sending 4 of the 2 oz bags. We realize there are a lot of soldiers, so we want to gather as many bags as we can to send.”

House of Jerky will send out all bags donated on December 1, to insure our troops receive their jerky in time for Christmas. Soldiers Angels will provide us with units to send them to. Customers can include a bag of jerky and a personalized note to go with the many others who will be sending a care package.
