CABRILLO MEDICAL CENTER COMPLETED

(September 2007) San Diego, California – Ware Malcomb is a national design firm offering planning, architecture, interior design, graphic design and site development services to commercial real estate clients throughout North America. The firm’s San Diego office is proud to announce that design and construction are completed for Cabrillo Medical Center, located at 7695 Cardinal Court in San Diego, California. Cabrillo Medical Center is situated in close proximity to Children’s Hospital & Health Center and Sharp Memorial Hospital off of the 163 Freeway. Fenway Properties of San Diego, California was the developer of the project. Fenway Properties is a real estate investment company who owns, leases, and professionally manages office and industrial properties throughout Southern California and Arizona.

Ware Malcomb provided architectural design services for this three-story steel-framed Class A medical office building with 31,222 rentable square feet. The building also includes a 26,963 square foot, single-story secured subterranean parking garage. Cabrillo Medical Center enhances the surrounding medical community by offering needed medical office space, as well as introducing modern architectural elements, including a two-story glass entry enhanced by a metal clad canopy supported by two stone columns. The state-of-the-art facility is available for sale or lease to single or multi-tenant medical office users. In addition to design services, Ware Malcomb assisted Fenway Properties in rezoning the site from residential to medical to coordinate with the adjacent uses. Reno Contracting of San Diego, California was the General Contractor for the project.
