Bo Barrett began his professional acting career in 2004 at the age of 18. He starred in the film "Cry For Help" opposite Sam Lloyd which premiered at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. Bo, whose more recent credits include Sofia Coppola’s ‘Marie Antoinette’, David E. Kelley’s ‘Boston Public’ and a supporting role along side ‘Lost’ star Daniel Kim in an upcoming ‘Untitled Project’ is probably the most known unknown talent in the Film/TV world. He grew up around the business in LA with actor Shia LaBeouf, and has acted along side such notables as Kirsten Dunst, Jason Schwartzman & Michael Rapaport. Bo has come close to fame quite a few times recently having been almost cast in the lead role of this Summers big hit “Superbad”, but was beat out by a couple other notables – one of which was Jonah Hill (Accepted & Knocked Up)

“Quench” which Bo stars in, is playing at the Laemmle Sunset 5 starting Monday Oct. 1st as part of the NYIFF. Its dark drama about a young man named Derik who visits a childhood friend after a tragedy affects his life. Derik comes to find out that his friend is not the same person he left 4 years ago when he went off to college. Bo says “Making Quench was exciting to me, because it dealt with a subject matter that I was not much aware of, thus allowing me to stretch my abilities.”

Bo also is a Writer/Director whose documentary about making it in Hollywood is playing the festival game as well this season. Next up Bo will be shooting and Allison Anders sequel to “Sugar Town” entitled “Ten Years After” opposite Rosanna Arquette.
