Atlanta Cosmetic Dentists win 8 medals in Cosmetic Dentistry Competititon

September 2007 - Atlanta, GA Drs. Peter Boulden and Susan Estep of Roswell, GA have won 8 Awards in the 13th Annual American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) National Smile Gallery competition for exhibiting outstanding skill in cosmetic dental procedures. Dr. Boulden won 5 medals and Dr. Estep won 3 in total. Drs Boulden and Estep both won Gold Awards for their work in cosmetic dentistry and photography.

The cases that won were selected at the annual conference this year held in Atlanta, GA. "We are happy to carry on the AACD’s tradition of superior smile design and changing people’s lives through cosmetic dentistry," commented Dr. Estep. Dr. Boulden adds,”it’s nice to be recognized by your peers and the Academy for excellence in aesthetic dentistry.”

The Annual AACD Smile Gallery Competition awards winners in four categories based upon technical skill in cosmetic dentistry, including: Indirect Restorations, Missing Anterior Tooth Restorations, Single Unit Anterior of Posterior Esthetics, and Special Effects. Additionally, awards of "Best of Show" and the "People’s Choice Award" are presented to those cases that particularly stand out as premier casework in cosmetic dentistry. All entries are submitted anonymously by members of the AACD.
