Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors, founding sponsor of the Annual Sunshine Kids Golf Classic, reported record support pushing the 15-year total over $2.5 million dollars at this year’s event. Craig Biggio and his wife, Patty, once again hosted the event.

Over 300 golfers braved the heat for The Celebrity Golf portion on Thursday, August 9, at the Wildcat Golf Club. The Gala celebration and auction was attended by over 800 supporters on Saturday, August 11, at the Hornberger Conference Center, breaking all records for the event.

It was an emotional week for the Biggio family. Along with The Sunshine Kids Golf Classic events, Biggio was honored at Minute Maid Park on Sunday, August 12 for his achievements with the Astros organization and his involvement with The Sunshine Kids. One of the highlights was a tribute to his father by Conor Biggio, Craig & Patty’s oldest son.
