Café Nova salutes Pavarotti

September 14, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Lifestyle News
Italian restaurant Café Nova on Surrey Street in Sheffield is encouraging customers to remember the prodigious talent of Pavarotti throughout September. Anyone mentioning Pavarotti when paying their bill during September will receive a 15% discount on their restaurant bill.

Saturday’s moving funeral of arguably the world’s greatest ever tenor was designed to be a celebration of his life and music, and whilst many Italians, music fans and even football fans are in mourning at his death, his recordings are at least there for us all to enjoy forever.

Ronnie Massarella, Chairman of Massarella Catering Group, said: “Italy has lost one of its all time greats, the entire country is terribly sad at this time. I am honoured to say I met him on numerous occasions at his annual Horse Show in Modena – he was a fantastic gentleman’. If we can do our bit to remind people of what an amazing talent he was, it will go some small way to celebrating Luciano Pavarotti’s outstanding contribution both musically and culturally.”
