The University of Tulsa College of Law will open its doors on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 6 p.m. to give anyone contemplating a future practicing law a chance for an “insider’s look” at law school.

Co-sponsored by Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions and held in the law school’s Price Turpen Courtroom, the Law School Insider Event is designed to provide a behind-the-scenes look at law school admissions and legal career opportunities.

The featured speaker and panel moderator will be Alicia Slyter, test prep and admissions LSAT specialist. Joining Slyter will be April Fox, senior assistant director of admissions and financial aid for the law school and law students Lauren Waits, in her second year, and Kristen Ryberg, in her third. Event organizers also expect to have an attorney from the Tulsa area available to discuss the legal profession.

Those in attendance will receive tips on admissions, strategies on test taking and information on placements after law school. John Rogers Hall can be found on the North side of the TU campus at 3120 East 4th Place.

Though the event is free, it is suggested interested parties register ahead of time. Registration can be done by calling 1-800-KAP-TEST or visiting www.kaptest.com/lawinsider.
