For camera and video enthusiasts who want to protect their costly gear from breakage, scratches, dings, corrosion, and even dust, CPD Industries, Inc, a leader in packaging technology, has unveiled a new series of photographer friendly Pelican cases. These indestructible camera cases, camera shipping cases are designed to protect sensitive photo and video equipment such as digital or underwater cameras, telephoto lenses, optical equipment, tripods and other photography gear within custom foam interior compartments. Professional video camera applications such as for Sony, Canon, and Panasonic are available with custom foam interior systems to protect complete outfits.

Complying with TSA regulation, the camera cases, carrying cases are built around world-famous Pelican cases, offering Pelican’s legendary Unconditional Lifetime Guarantee; “You break it, we replace it—Forever.”

The virtually indestructible outer shell, custom inner foam combination provides complete protection from travel-related shock, vibration, temperature fluctuation, spills, water, dust and humidity, while making transport easy. The Camera Case 1510, for instance, is overhead bin compliant with a retracting extension handle and polyurethane wheels for easy movement.

The Pelican camera cases meet MIL-STD 4150-J for stacking (400 lbs.), drop test (48"), immersion (2" at 160 °F), and meet or exceed the highest airline, military, industrial or commercial standards. The video and camera carrying cases are designed with a lightweight space-age resin unaffected by dents, scratches, or corrosion with four times the strength to weight ratio of conventional injection molding.

Once camera and video enthusiasts seal the Pelican cases, they're air, water, spill, and even dust proof flying at 30,000 feet or submerged 30 feet below water due to multiple latches and a neoprene "O Ring." Sensitive camera and video equipment is surrounded and cushioned by special closed cell foam designed to absorb shock, impact, and vibration. Because the closed cell foam does not absorb water and has longer shelf life, unlike open cell polyurethane, it provides continual long-term protection.

The Pelican camera cases come with padded dividers, and optional lid organizers with pockets can hold lenses, films, filters, light meters, pocket lights, etc. Also available as an optional accessory is the TSA Accepted Combination Lock, which expedites airport inspection, allowing airport personnel (who have special access keys) to inspect the contents of the carrying cases without needing to cut locks for security inspections.
