September 17, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Mzuri Womens Empowerment is a Ugandan Commuity Based Oganisation involving over 20 women who hand role jewelry. The women buy old magazines and posters from the market and role paper beads from cut strips of paper to create their unique designs. Each piece is one of kind and comes with chance to contact and read about the jewelers life on the website.

Mzuri has a voluntary UK Representative named Kirstie MacLean. She is on the look out for markets, sponsers and any advertising/awareness opportunties worldwide.

The future is bright for Mzuri, as their jewelry has proven to be popular to all cultures, ages and sexes. They recieve 100% of the money generated and use it to pay their rent, school fees, food, medications, etc. However, they have a community development workplan lined up and look forward to many more orders in the near
future.
