Piatek Software Announces Professional Version of its Popular QuotesTK Historical Stock Quote Downloader

Santa Maria, CA (PRLEAP) September 19, 2007— The QuotesTK family is distinguished by its built-in indices lists. What makes these so special is that QuotesTK automatically checks Standard & Poors and Dow Jones' website directly to obtain the most up-to-date and latest security lists. Any securities that have been recently delisted are automatically removed from the designated index list by QuotesTK and then the new security additions that have taken their place are added to the list. This allows great convenience for traders who like to do analytical work on a specific set of securities that make up a select index as they do not want to trade securities that are no longer included.

Also introduced in QuotesTK Professional on top of the already useful QuotesTK Basic is the ability to create, edit and delete custom user lists. If there are a select group of securities, the user is no longer required to have to download an entire index of quotes. They can just specify the securities in a watchlist and only those securities will be updated. This along with QuotesTK Professional's new built-in charting leads to a really great revision by Piatek Software.
