ATLANTA – Ilene H. Ferenczy, managing member of The Law Offices of Ilene H. Ferenczy, is the recipient of the prodigious 2007 Educator Award presented by the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. The award will be presented at the 2007 ASPPA Annual Conference in Washington, D.C., on October 22, in recognition of Ms. Ferenczy’s superior and dedicated commitment to education in the pension and retirement field. ASPPA—the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries— is a non-profit professional organization acting on behalf of its 6,000+ members to improve retirement income policy.
Ms. Ferenczy is a frequent and well-received speaker via benefits’ webcasts and at benefits conferences nationwide. She is known for her uniquely creative ability to present highly technical information in an understandable and informative way.
Ms. Ferenczy has written three textbooks and is co-author of The Plan Termination Answer Book. The eight edition of her book Employee Benefits in Mergers and Acquisitions is scheduled for publication in September, 2007.
