September 20, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Amidst the transformation of the famed Park Plaza Tower into The Private Residences at the Chase Park Plaza, more amazing spaces are taking shape on floors six through eight. A total of 51 furnished corporate apartment units, ranging from 506 square feet to 1,051 square feet, will offer stunning views, unsurpassed amenities and full access to all of The Chase Park Plaza's world-class services. This week, the developers of The Chase Park Plaza announced detailed plans for the units, scheduled to be available by the second quarter of 2008.

¡°We added three units to our original count,¡± explained Jim Smith, one of the developers of The Private Residences at The Chase Park Plaza and the hotel. "Beyond that, we've solidified finishes, layouts, entrances and more. We expect the corporate apartments to reflect the ambiance and quality of the recently renovated hotel rooms. The reconstructed apartments will set a new standard in the city for corporate housing options."

The development team announced the creation of the corporate apartments in October 2006 as part of the hotel's makeover. Each unit will include custom designed kitchens and baths, complete with maple cabinets, granite vanities and porcelain tile flooring. Luxurious bathrooms will feature custom walk-in showers with separate bathtubs complete with stone tile and brushed nickel plumbing fixtures by Danze, Kohler and American Standard. GE Profile appliances in stainless steel include a range, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. Apartments will also feature a washer and dryer by Bosch and be fully furnished with the highest quality furniture and linens.

Residents of the corporate apartments will also appreciate:

- new high-speed elevators for exclusive service to the units, providing long-term guests privacy and convenience;

- separate, designated entrance from the parking garage;

- weekly housekeeping; and

- room service, pool and fitness club access, hotel concierge service and all other hotel amenities.

The 85-year-old building is expected to continue its tradition of hosting celebrities, guest MUNY performers, visiting academics, families who are in town for medical needs or relocation, and many others. Prior to interior demolition, the Park Plaza was home to 60 smaller corporate units that enjoyed a high rate of occupancy.

"Long-term stays in St. Louis have never been so comfortable," said Smith. "We've partnered with two of the leading interior design teams to ensure the apartments are equipped with every amenity and every feature expected from The Chase Park Plaza. Our central location is icing on the cake for whoever chooses us as their home away from home. We're honored to offer the best in quality and service."

Specific leasing and rate information will be available later this year. For more information on The Chase Park Plaza corporate apartment units, contact Melissa Kaiser at (314) 633-7735
