A new gift website is challenging the notion of what bouquets should be made of. Not flowers, not fruit or candy. Jerky is what these arrangements are blooming with, and they’re doing it with style.

The BeefJerkybouquet is the child of Grand Rapids advertising copywriter, Cindi Walther; a business she began concepting after her former employer, Kalamazoo, Michigan based ad agency Copper, closed in 2006.

"I've always wanted to do something like this. The layoff gave me the time to get things started." says Walther.

Each bouquet comes complete with yellow filler and an overflowing beer head to resemble a freshly poured draft.

The bouquets come in two sizes —The Chug-it bouquet is a 25 OZ beer mug
filled with a pound of beef jerky, venison jerky and flavored meat sticks— The Sip-it bouquet is a 23 OZ pilsner glass filled with 3/4s of a pound of beef jerky, venison jerky and meat sticks in a variety of flavors.

According to Cindi her business has been growing steadily since its January, 2007 introduction."Men love them, and women love giving them. It's great." Says Walther, 37.

Soon, due to popular demand, the company will offer a child’s bouquet made to resemble a root beer float, complete with curly straw and spoon.

The Beef Jerky Bouquet is a unique, and manly gift that will have everyone uttering their tagline:

Say it with Meat! Tm
