Irvine, Calif., Sept. 21, 2007 — Calyx Software®, the mortgage industry’s leading provider of loan marketing, originating and processing software, and LoanToolbox, the leading provider of training and marketing solutions for the mortgage industry, are holding a second seminar designed to help mortgage originators grow their business, on September 21 in Irvine, California. The seminar series, entitled Grow Your Business in a Tough Market, is open to all mortgage professionals.

The seminar will assess the current mortgage origination marketplace, identify the impact on originators and outline practical and proven techniques for increasing loan production in a period of market contraction. Greg Frost, one of the nation’s leading mortgage originators and a faculty member at LoanToolbox, and Rick Roque, national sales manager for Calyx Software, are the featured speakers. Frost is a nationally acclaimed speaker and the first loan originator to produce multi-million dollar per month originations. He is also known nationally as the first billion-dollar loan originator in America. Frost will be speaking about his successful marketing practices and will illustrate how the use of Calyx Point® automates the loan origination process, enabling Frost to close more loans in less time.

“Being successful in today’s market requires a combination of talented people, solid processes, marketing tools and technology,” said Dennis Boggs, senior vice president of Calyx Software. “We are focused on improving the productivity and success of mortgage professionals and believe LoanToolbox’s outstanding knowledge of marketing best practices will be invaluable to our customers and other mortgage originators in these very difficult market conditions.”

“Calyx Software and LoanToolbox are the most widely used software application and marketing programs within the mortgage industry,” said Rich Katz, president and co-founder of LoanToolbox. “We are excited about partnering with Calyx Software on this seminar, in addition to our first seminar held in San Jose, California. We see this as an opportunity to bring valuable and timely content to the mortgage community exactly when they need it most.”
