Television Series Showcases Coventry Log Homes

Coventry Log Homes in Woodsville, New Hampshire recently received a visit from the hosts and film crew of the television series Woods n’ Water. Woods n’ Water airs on the Outdoor Channel and filmed an episode and spot commercials for Coventry Log Homes, Inc. on September 11, 2007. The episode filmed at Coventry features their new Recreational Camp Series and the benefits of owning one for the hunting enthusiast. Interviews were conducted on at the Coventry Log Homes site where they have two log home models built. The newly erected Getaway model which is the smallest camp in the Recreational Camp Series and the full featured Log Home; The Somersworth model from their craftsman series. The show is scheduled to air sometime this fall.

Coventry executives, Jeff and Mark Elliott, and their father, Jim, went on a week-long hunting excursion with Bluff Country Outfitters in Wisconsin early in December of 2006, where they met and formed a friendship with the shows’ hosts Peter and Kate Fiduccia of New York. Before long they realized the benefits of forming a business alliance and in June Coventry became sponsors of the Woods n’ Water show.

Peter Fiduccia along with being the producer of the show is also the author of five books, a journalist, lecturer and consultant. His wife Kate, co-host, runs the camera and has also authored five books. Their son, Cody, is learning the business and handles lighting and sound for the filming and also interviewed Mark Elliott for a segment on tips that will air on each show.

Their television series is celebrating 26 years of national syndication and is shown on the Outdoor Channel on Thursdays at 12:30 P.M.; Saturdays 5:30 P.M. and Sundays at 6:30 A.M.; and EST. Check your local listing for channel availability.

Coventry Log Homes, Inc. has already kick-started their campaign to promote The Recreational Camp Series with print advertising in various New England outdoor enthusiasts magazines such as Hawkeye, Maine Sportsman, Northwoods, Outdoor Magazine and Woods n’ Water. The camps will be featured at Coventry's booths at The Johnson’s Log Home and Timber Frame Shows in: Somerset, NJ on September 22-23; Lake George, NY on October 6-7; and Danbury, CT on November 17-18.
