$18-Million Retail Deal: Jameson Realty Group's Commerical Division Closes Sale Of Three Chicago - Area Walgreens

Jameson Realty Group announced that Esther Y. Berman, vice president of Jameson Realty’s Commercial Division completed the sale of three free-standing Walgreens in the Chicago area. The properties sold for a total of $18 million.

In the first transaction Berman represented the buyer, a private investor, on the purchase of 2924 E. 92nd St. on Chicago’s South Side. Preferred Properties was the seller represented by Peter Giadla.

Evanda L.P., a 1031 tax-deferred exchange purchaser, represented by Berman, bought the remaining two newly built properties located in northwest suburban Elgin and southwest suburban Yorkville.

The seller for the Elgin property, located at northwest corner of Villa and Liberty streets, Villa & Liberty LLC, was represented by Robert Miller, president of Millco Investments. Jeff Stahl of Stahl, Cowen & Crowley, LLC, waw the attorney for the seller, and Audrey Selin of Neal, Gerber and Eisenberg, LLP was the attorney for the purchaser.

Interra-Vision Development, LLC, was the seller in the Yorkville location located at the northwest corner of Illinois 47 and Illinois 71. Glen Garfinkel of Levick, Tim & Garfinkel, LLC, was the attorney for the seller, and Audrey Selin of Neal, Gerber and Eisenberg, LLP, was the attorney for the purchaser.
