Alphalogix™ Workflow Tool Expands Feature List in Tasica Forms Director 3.1

Huntington Beach, CA, September 26, 2007 – Alphalogix™, an award winning provider of electronic forms, workflow, and enterprise portal solutions, announced today the release of Tasica Forms Director 3.1, an open standard business process management tool, allowing employees with no formalized IT training to create dynamic and efficient workflows with full application logic, now with support of XForms, digital signatures and workflow status reports.

Tasica Forms Director is currently revolutionizing the workflow industry as a business process management tool. With key integration with electronic forms, portals and dashboard technologies, business processes can drive many different aspects of corporate management and communication.

These enhanced and new product features allow users to perform and monitor their business processes in a way that is adaptable to their specific needs in real time.

Key new features include:

- Support of XForms, a XML open standard electronic form format. Prior to the release of 3.1, users could design workflows to include electronic forms with multiple language options, unlimited variable decisions, pre-population of data and easy to edit flexibility. With XForms, users have more options and are able to create workflows with electronic forms that dynamically change their graphical layout according to the end users needs as they fill them out. This support allows for complex scripting in a point-and-click interface.

- Support of digital signatures. By supporting digital signatures, managers can ensure the validity of sensitive data while efficiently transmitting data using the power of workflow and business process automation. This support eliminates the need for a paper based workflow while maintaining the integrity and authenticity of each document.

- Out of box status reports. New reporting features highlight individual workflow statistics using a visual representation of the actual workflow. These reports can give executives insight into the overall health of their business processes by allowing them to identify where inefficiencies lie. Line of business users will benefit by being able to check on the status of their requests.

CEO of Alphalogix, Bob McCandless states, “The open standards of XForms make it an excellent choice for standardizing eforms technology within service-oriented infrastructures. Ultimately the biggest benefit of an open standard foundation is that it is future proof. Many organizations have workflow and electronic forms data and documents that are locked up in formats that are unacceptable to the design tools of today. With open standards, information from the electronic forms and workflow processes will never become technologically obsolete.”

Alphalogix plans to expand Tasica’s line of workflow technology to integrate with a multitude of electronic forms authoring environments and tools such as HTML, Microsoft InfoPath, and Adobe PDF. Additional products from Tasica including the Portlet Pack and the newly released Dynamic Reporting Module fully integrate with and extend the value of Forms Director.
