Eggceptional Addition to Art & Wine Faire

September 26, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Education News
San Carlos, CA, September 26, 2007 – Kids Culinary Adventures (KCA) is excited to be stirring up a good time at this year’s San Carlos Art & Wine Faire. The fun filled weekend of October 6th and 7th plays host to one of the peninsula’s premier fall festivals. Along with lots of family favorites, this year faire-goers will be treated to a new eggsperience at Kids Culinary Adventures’ unique booth. Children will learn about nutrition and sustainability in a hands-on project that will have them cracking up!

Chef Gigi and the rest of the Kids Culinary Adventures team look forward to families visiting their booth in the “Family Fun Zone” as part of their action packed faire experience. “KCA prides itself on teaching educational FUNdamentals in a memorable way, and our activities at the Art and Wine Faire are designed to do just that,” says Brandy Kruger co-owner of KCA. Visitors will create their own eco-friendly mini herb gardens inside an eggshell. Their experience will include recipes using their fresh, organic, and pesticide-free herbs; as well as information on how to befriend their biosphere through sustainability.

“We’re very excited to be participating in this year’s event. Not only is it something the children will enjoy creating, but they’ll learn vital lessons along the way. It also gets the entire family involved in cooking up delicious recipes with the fruits of their labor,” Chef Gayle “Gigi” Gaggero added. “This eggstreme garden is sure to be something they want to show everyone. It also teaches children how fun and rewarding it can be to grow their own food.”

Kids Culinary Adventures is proud to be involved in this year’s faire. They hope that a visit to their booth will not only bring a little spice to the dinner table, but open up a fun new world for families to explore long after they go home. This will be accomplished with a special website section at http://www.kidsculinaryadventures.com, dedicated to growing and maintaining their gardens, as well as a variety of healthy recipes to create with home grown goodness!
