September 27, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
In December of 2006, Contracting Resources Group, Inc. (CRG) contributed to the Literacy Center Education Network, a not-for-profit web site providing early childhood education lessons to children in over 160 countries. The lessons offered through Literacy Center Education Network target alphabet, number and shape comprehension, and are available in English, French, German and Spanish and are totally free of charge.

In addition to providing lessons to children all over the world, Literacy Center Education Network has another driving motivation. The Literacy Center facilitates the collaboration of some of the best and brightest people in education. From web designers to psychologists, engineers to educational technologists, everyone involved with the Literacy Center is helping to answer some of the most pressing questions concerning early childhood education. Hopefully the answers found will help future generations of students improve their test scores and their learning capabilities.

Already, Literacy Education Network provides as many as 1.7 million lessons a day to children, their parents, and their teachers. Now the service is striving to grow and improve. In order to reach their goals, this invaluable network needs support from individuals and companies like CRG. This year, Literacy Center Education Network hopes to introduce new languages and lessons to the website. They will do this without cluttering the pages with advertising, relying solely on the generosity of donations.

Literacy Center Education Network is unique and admirable with its lack of advertising. The clean and focused pages filled with lessons and resources for children, parents and teachers, make the website a valuable and safe tool for early childhood education. This Network will help children along the path to literacy, and will never lead them astray with outside links to sponsors.
