The Brand Show to Discuss the Branding of Celebrities and Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (September 29, 2007) —- The Brand Show, a product of Two West, Inc., is a weekly radio program on Kansas City’s KCTE, 1510 AM. The topic discussed will be the branding of celebrities and athletes on Wed., Sept. 26 from 9 to 10 a.m.

Paul Swangard, managing director of the University of Oregon’s Warsaw Sports Marketing Center, will be the show’s guest to discuss how athletes are used to market products and how they create their own positive image. Swangard will also discuss how athletes deal with publicity crisis’ like those recently suffered by Michael Vick.
The show will also look into the branding tactics made by Britney Spears, Oprah Winfrey and Barak Obama. Each used specific tactics to grow as individuals and become more recognizable to American consumers.
