Just Published: First 'How To' Book Ever Written on Finding And Hiring A Competent Home Inspector

Unlike other books in the market place dealing with home inspections, this 'How To Book' is the first of its kind to show step by step how to avoid making the same costly mistakes most home buyers and real estate investors unknowingly make in looking to hire a home inspector. By simply reading and applying the author's easy to follow steps from start to finish, this alone could potentially save a home buyer or real estate investor hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, in preventing the purchase of a 'Money Pit' due to a mediocre home inspection.

A home owner, David Raye comments: I only wish I had access to this information before we purchased our last home. By hiring an inspector that my real estate agent recommended, I am convinced that they were in cahoots together. Having received a report with some minor issues that seemed insignificant, it turned out there were a bunch of issues that needed to be addressed later on. Back then, I only wish I was able to spend less than $20 to save thousands. Great book, I highly recommend this book.

The book is divided into four easy to read sections and an appendix. Each section consists of a number of short paragraphs and a bullet line summary to recap important details. The appendix begins with a section devoted to questions on how/what to ask and includes a prequalification and comparison checklist, sample inspection forms, and a list of helpful links to be used along with the book.

The author states: By following and applying the concepts in my book, you should be well on your way toward finding a good and competent home inspector. Like any worthwhile endeavor in life, the outcome is commensurate with the amount of time and effort you're willing to invest to minimize your risk. And, if you consider for just a moment that a home is often the single largest investment you will ever make, it's worth it!
