Tampa, Fla. (October 10, 2007) - October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month and on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, EMS Consulting – Intelligent Chaos (EMS-IC), the premier provider of ERP and SOA solutions, will join hundreds of individuals and companies gathering at the St Pete Times Forum Plaza.

EMS-IC’s “Team Connections” will unite for a 5K walk down Bayshore Boulevard to raise awareness and funds to fight breast cancer. Registration for the Making Strides against Breast Cancer event begins at 7:30 a.m. with the ribbon cutting ceremony at 9 a.m.

Said president and CEO, Elaine Myrback, “Today, everyone knows at least one person who’s had or has been, in some way, touched by cancer. Our companies are walking together to both show our support of the wonderful work the American Cancer Society does in search of a cure and as a tribute to those who are fighting, who’ve survived, or who’ve passed from any form of cancer.”

With 120 walks in states across the country, the annual Making Strides against Breast Cancer walk does not have a registration fee or minimum fundraising amount. It is open to men, women, and children of all ages. This non-competitive, inspirational event unites family, friends, and co-workers alike to raise awareness and fund life-saving Breast Cancer research and support programs.

Said Deb Kelley, EMS-IC Team Connections Leader, “This event is incredibly moving. You have the opportunity to meet the real people who’ve been affected by this disease, not just anonymous faces on commercials or print ads. It’s a few of hours exercise and camaraderie – truly making memories you will never forget.”

Enterprise Businesses will want to work with the industry experienced solution provider, EMS Consulting (www.consultems.com)Intelligent Chaos (www.intelligentchaos.com) to ensure the SOA system integration solutions have a rock-solid foundation and framework to build upon for current and future operations.
