Blue Marlin appoints Planning Director

Blue Marlin is accelerating its development as a strategically-led, insight-driven creative design consultancy with the appointment of Katie Lancaster as Planning Director for its London Head Office.

Katie is one of the advertising-industry’s leading planners and joins from Leo Burnett where she was a Planning Director for three years. She was responsible for leading strategic development across brands and regions for P&G and was also involved with the agency’s new business development.

Prior to that, as a Planning Partner at Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R, London, Katie was responsible for the running of the planning department, working for well-known clients including Lloyds TSB, Kraft (Toblerone), thetrainline.com, Virgin Atlantic, Eurostar and Ericsson. Her career also includes board-level responsibility at WCRS and senior roles at M&C Saatchi and Ogilvy & Mather. She started her career as a Research Analyst at Boston Consulting Group in Munich.
