Stratos Jets announces successful participation in Eco-Jet Charter Program

Orlando, Florida, October 13, 2007 - Stratos Jet Charters, Inc. reports that client participation in their Eco-Jet Charter program has improved as a result of their “offset your jet” campaign.

Stratos Jet Charters, Inc. first partnered with TerraPass early in May of 2007. Joel A. Thomas President of Stratos Jet Charters, Inc. said “Stratos jets is an innovative company. We take pride in our ability to assist in all areas and concerns of our clients. In the spring of this year, we were challenged by an environmental group in North Carolina, to promote “carbon neutral” flights. Through our partnership with TerraPass we have met that challenge.”

6 months into the program Stratos Jets has helped a number of their clients offset the carbon emissions of their flight. Initially, many of these offsets came in the form of contributions from Stratos Jet Charters, Inc. on behalf of their clients. A shift in who is contributing has recently occurred. Stratos Jet Charters, Inc. reports that in the month of September, 2007 a total of 35,236lbs of Carbon emissions were offset by their customers. Joel A. Thomas President of Stratos Jet Charters, Inc. attributes this shift to “promotion of our “offset your jet” campaign. Joel A. Thomas also said “to help put this in perspective, our clients contributions are equivalent to having offset the carbon emissions of nearly 6 cars driven for an entire year”
In Spring of 2007 Stratos Jet Charters, Inc. researched companies who provide carbon offsets.
