ATHENS, OHIO—Milo's Whole World Gourmet, producer of the fabulous and popular Vino de Milo line of all-natural wine-based pasta sauces, announces the launch of its new website at www.miloswholeworld.com. The new site offers a wealth of tantalizing information for the consumer and retailer on the Milo's Whole World specialty food experience.

"We call our product line an ‘experience' because we believe in bringing increased vitality to the region by becoming an internationally-acclaimed gourmet experience company,' said founder, creator and chef Jonathan Milo Leal. "Our web site not only offers information on the best in gourmet pasta sauces but encourages our buyers to, while eating well, participate in worldwide expeditions offered by Milo's and support economic and social justice organizations.'

What's more, to tickle your taste buds, recipes are available on the newly-launched site for use with the Vino de Milo pasta line, which so far includes the following varieties:

· Bombay Cabernet - Chickpeas and curry in a hearty, exotic tomato-Cabernet sauce. A world bazaar of flavor!
· Mediterranean Pinot Grigio - Artichoke hearts, capers, and olives are accented by Pinot Grigio wine and fresh herbs.
· Portobello Shiraz - Sautéed portobello mushrooms, diced onions, and fresh herbs stand well up to Shiraz wine.
· Tuscan Merlot - Roasted squash and eggplant unite in this hearty sauce accentuated by crisp Merlot wine and lots of fresh herbs.

These sauces, using all-natural ingredients, have a suggested retail price of $7.99 to $9.99.

Milo's is not just about eating well, said Leal. "Your purchase of a Vino de Milo creation builds on a foundation of quality and principles.'

On the web site is information on a gourmet 10-day tour of France, led by Leal, where you can enjoy wine tastings, hands-on cooking classes, and sightseeing at some of France's best-known and lesser-known treasures. Leal's fluency in French makes the trip a delight, from tours of famous chateaux to tastings in small vineyards.

Milo's has a social conscience too. Up to 10% of post-tax profits go to groups working to promote social and economic justice worldwide. "We firmly believe that it's our duty to give back and help those who are less fortunate than us,' said Leal. Milo's also supports and is made with local products wherever possible.

Though headquartered in the Athens, Ohio, deep in the Appalachians, Milo's is available in shops in six states; new retail accounts are being added every day. Retailers looking for additional information can email sales@miloswholeworld.com.

About Milo's Whole World Gourmet

Leal founded Milo's in 2003 with the goal of creating the highest-quality all-natural ethnic gourmet products, while using a portion of the proceeds to make a difference locally, nationally, and globally. The name Milo is a Leal family name going back for generations. Jonathan's paternal grandfather was named Otis Milo Leal (the Milo after an uncle), and he passed it on to his son and Jonathan's father, William Milo Leal. Bill Leal then passed the middle name on to Jonathan, who in turn has given birth of a sort to his own baby: Milo's Whole World Gourmet — the fifth-generation of the name Milo.

A family of world travelers and linguists, the Leals are experts in world cuisine and have passed this love for international food on to Jonathan.
