ScienceScope Datalogger used in Sports Education

Bath, UK – ScienceScope, one of the UK’s leading Datalogging Companies, will be attending the baaple and PEA Conference at Keele Conference Centre from the 6th-9th July 2005 and delivering a Workshop on the 7th July on “Using Data logging to support the PE National Curriculum”. This is the essential conference for everyone involved in physical education and school sport throughout the UK.

ScienceScope is a member of the PE Consortium and has worked on a variety of projects that the PE Consortium has delivered over the past two years. The ScienceScope workshop will include staff and pupils from PE Consortium partner schools who will be demonstrating some basic investigations incorporating a range of measurement and sensing systems, with which you will be see how to record and analyse physical performance and look at ways in which this can be used to aid pupil performance development. The workshop will also involve some hands on experience with a range of equipment, including heart rate monitors, breathing rate monitors etc. along with a demonstration on how easily it can be incorporated into class teaching
