Navori SA, a Paris-based digital signage and narrowcasting software company, has named P. Craig Turner and Scott P. Hunter to the board of directors of Navori, Inc.

“Our digital signage platform has proven itself in Europe, yet we know the U.S. market is quite distinct and needs the focused efforts of a proven team. That is why we are very pleased that Mr. Turner and Hunter are joining us,” said Jerome Mori, CEO of Navori SA. “We have no doubt that our sales growth in the U.S. will be greatly enhanced because of the expertise they have in not only digital signage, but also narrowcasting and sales to major American corporations.”

Craig Turner, who is a partner in Dallas-based Birman Interests LLC, will focus on business development. Turner has served as lead consultant for several digital media companies, including Sony, Mercury Online (now 3M) and Convergent Media.

Scott Hunter, who will be responsible for the Sales and Technology management, is known for his expertise in broadband distribution of content and enterprise software solutions. His track record includes a successful career at Oracle as well as 25 years with the military.

By naming Turner and Hunter to their Board, Navori is establishing a new agent structure for its North American subsidiary, Navori, Inc. The goal is to consolidate all sales and customer communications closer to the North American client base. Turner and Hunter will manage all sales and customers in the U.S. and will be focused on establishing relationships with Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

“We are very familiar with the various software and hardware offerings in the digital signage industry,” stated Turner. “We were very impressed with the capabilities and flexibility of Navori’s Tycoon Digital Signage and Narrowcasting technology, and that is why we are looking forward to being the major driver of this effort in the U.S. The market for this is huge – retail, educational, government, transportation and corporate facilities can all benefit from having a software solution that allows them to easily and inexpensively drive video communications to a broad, yet highly targeted audience.

About Navori, SA
Paris-based Navori SA was created in 1998 with investment by the LVMH Group (Luis Vuitton Moet Hennessey) that was looking for a digital signage solution for its retail locations. The founders researched digital signage and narrowcasting technology platforms and found that none were of the capabilities demanded by the market. Thus the Tycoon generation of software products were developed. While the company originally offered systems integration services, that part of the business was sold in 2001 and digital signage and narrowcasting became the sole focus. To date, the Navori Tycoon platform is driving more than 4000 digital signage networks worldwide and is acknowledged for its capability to integrate with existing back office and logistics systems.
