Houston Public Relations –Houston Publicist Sharon Dotson Wins Houston Press Club Media Award

Houston public relations expert Sharon Dotson, has been honored by the Houston Press Club for outstanding media relations marketing work.

The Houston chapter of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) awarded Dotson the Gold Excalibur Award in the Brand Management Tactics category. The Houston chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) recognized her for a communications campaign and awarded her the Bronze Quill Award of Merit.

This is the third year in a row that PRSA has honored Dotson’s Houston public relations agency. This is the second consecutive year IABC has recognized her company’s work.

Dotson who is accredited in public relations, is a former newspaper reporter and magazine editor. She started Bayou City Public Relations in 2001 after a fifteen year career in corporate and nonprofit public relations.
