Raleigh Public Relations Society Unveils New Logo

(PRLEAP.COM) RALEIGH, N.C. (May 2007) – The Raleigh Public Relations Society (RPRS) unveiled a new organizational identity, which includes a new set of logos and colors, at its monthly meeting on April 24. The new primary logo features the word “Raleigh”, with the “R” stylized to appear to be a human form, underscored by the words “public relations society”. The new colors are bold orange and navy blue. Leesa Brinkley of Leesa Brinkley Graphic Design, Inc. in Cary designed the entire logo package.

“We wanted something energetic and youthful to represent our core membership,” said Joe Mecca, RPRS vice president and coordinator of the rebranding project. “We’re very pleased with the new look, and we intend to phase in the use of the new logos in all of our print materials and on our website over the next several months.”

In addition to the organization’s main logo, Brinkley also created logos for internal use that use the organization’s abbreviation, RPRS, as well as logos for the Sir Walter Raleigh Awards for Excellence in Communication and the Watt Huntley Award for Lifetime Achievement.
