SEVERNA PARK, Md., August 23, 2007 – As an active member of the local business community of technology users, financiers, suppliers, and entrepreneurs, Chris O. Communications is making an investment in the Anne Arundel County Technology Council (AATC) through a sponsorship of the third annual awards program, TechAwards 07: Into the Flow.

The Nov. 6 event from 6 to 9 pm at the Loews Annapolis Hotel will honor local companies in categories for Innovation, the Good Apple, the Legend’s Circle, and Tech Company of the Year. Under the Gold Sponsorship category, the business communications firm will have a prominent presence among the more than 300 executives from the region’s technology businesses and government agencies who will be offered the “Chris O. Dynamo,” a martini made to order at the TechTini bar.

“AATC (www.aachtc.org) has rightfully staked its claim as a hub in the tri-metro area of Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington because it is home to so many high-profile technology firms, government contractors, and federal operations such as the National Security Agency,” says Chris Ourand of Chris O. Communications. “These awards will showcase the best this region has to offer, and it is important for our firm to be part of that.”
