Any Long Island resident, whether attending college locally or away from home as a full-time college junior, senior or post-graduate student, and full-time sophomores attending a community college, may apply for this valuable scholarship. Students must have completed an internship in a public relations capacity at a business, not-for-profit organization or government agency during the Summer or Fall 2006 or Spring 2007 semester. Additional criteria and application forms are available online at www.prpli.org.

Up to two winners will be selected from applications received by the April 27, 2007 deadline and awarded a $1,500 scholarship during ceremonies at PRPLI’s annual awards dinner in May. The annual event, held by PRPLI each spring, also recognizes leaders in the field of public relations.

We encourage everyone to come and see what we have to offer.”
