Placemaking Group Lands Four New Accounts

OAKLAND, Calif., September 4, 2007- Placemaking Group, a San Francisco Bay Area PR and marketing services firm has added four new accounts to its client roster: Events, Etc. a full service event management company; data storage solution provider Olixir Technologies, the law firm of Scott Cole & Associates, specializing in employment class actions, and the growing Bay Area video production company Colemanfilm.

Placemaking Group will work with Events, Etc. to redesign its existing Web site. The South San Francisco-based award-winning full-service catering and event-production company lists Fortune 500 companies and top Silicon Valley firms as its clients, which include Oracle, IBM, Chevron, VISA, and Adobe.

Also contracting with Placemaking Group for a Web site redesign is Oakland-based law firm Scott Cole & Associates. In addition to a design upgrade, the project will also include search engine optimization. Since 1992, Scott Cole & Associates has represented workers in employment class actions, addressing overtime pay, unfair bonuses, meal and rest period violations, and uniform and work-related expense reimbursement claims.

Olixir Technologies, a Milpitas, California-based data storage solution company in business since 2001, has retained Placemaking Group to provide new-product branding and redevelop its Web site.

Colemanfilm has signed on with Placemaking Group for a media relations campaign. Headed up by Bay Area native 23-year old Michael Coleman, the video production company has top-name entertainment and music industry clients including Aerosmith, The Matches, Ozomatli, Sammy Hagar, Michelle Branch, and Jack Johnson.
